Ascend Online Application

Interested students will need to complete and submit the application below. Only one application is needed/will be accepted.

All Ascend applicants are applying to be part of a research study on the effectiveness of an academic success support program. Space in the program is limited. This is just the first step in the overall application process. All applicants must also submit their FAFSA and WV Invests forms and complete the new student online orientation.

Once these steps are complete, an Ascend representative will contact you to participate in a short interview. After that interview, a lottery-like process will be used to select which students will be offered a place in the program. After the selection process is completed, you will be notified if you have been placed in the Ascend program. Students not selected for Ascend will be directed to campus resources that are readily available. More information can be found here.
